This week students looked at House sculptures by Korean Artist, Do Ho Suh. Students then began to build their own houses out of paper.
Tree Sculptures
This week we started to add leaves to our trees. I showed students two ways they could use tissue paper to add to their sculpture, but making sure to use one color to keep unity throughout their sculpture.

Students were introduced to the definition of SHAPE (an area contained by line) and the PRIMARY COLORS. Students then painted the Shapes found in their Expressive Line paintings they made last week.
